Ethan Hunter of the hamlet of Casa Rio in the RM of Corman Park has qualified for the PGA TOUR America’s affiliated MJT Future Stars Invitational in Sherwood Park, Alberta later this month.

Joining Hunter at that event is another young Saskatchewan golfer, Tommy Danielson of Saskatoon.

Both golfers qualified as a result of their performances during the non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT).

The announcement was made by MJT on June 18.

The MJT Future Stars Invitational, presented by ATB at Northern Bear Golf Course in Sherwood Park, AB, June 22 and 23, features 18 top juniors who qualified from across Canada, competing in a 36-hole stroke-play event under PGA TOUR conditions the week leading into the ATB Classic at the same venue. This unique opportunity offers participants a full professional tour experience and the chance to win an exemption into the PGA TOUR America’s ATB Classic.
