Four people are facing weapons offence charges in relation to an evade police and robbery early Tuesday morning.

On May 14, 2024 at approximately 12:10 a.m. police responded to reports of a stolen vehicle in progress in the 300 Block of Pendygrasse Road.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim without injuries. Members of Patrol were able to locate the stolen vehicle and suspect vehicle driving eastbound on 11th Street; both vehicles evaded police.

Officers successfully deployed a tire deflation device on the stolen vehicle; however, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Members of the Air Support Unit (ASU) began monitoring the vehicle on Circle Drive North near 33rd Street West, eventually leading Patrol units to Highway 12 where a high-risk traffic stop was conducted and two suspects were arrested. Upon search of the vehicle, officers located methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as multiple knives, and a canister of bear spray.

Officers were also able to locate and arrest two people from the suspect vehicle; upon search of the vehicle, officers found a firearm, knives, as well as a variety of controlled substances.

As a result, a 31-year-old man, 38-year-old man, 36-year-old man, and 16-year-old female face charges relating to robbery, numerous firearms charges, theft over $5000, possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Fentanyl), evading police, and dangerous driving.
