The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League recently announced the finalists for the year-end awards.

Among the nominees are some Warman Wildcats alumni.

Spencer Bell of the Humboldt Broncos

Spencer Bell was selected in three categories; Most Valuable Player, Forward of the Year and Saskatchewan Player of the Year. The talented forward has 43 goals and 40 assists in 43 games  for the Humboldt Broncos.

Mason Bueckert of the La Ronge Ice Wolves

Former Warman U18AAA Wildcat star Mason Bueckert is a finalist for Most SportsmanLike Player. He has 20 goals and 42 assists  for the LaRonge Ice Wolves.

Carson Olsenn of the Battlefords North Stars

Warman’s Carson Olsen capped off a great season with the Battlefords North Stars, earning recognition as a finalist for Rookie of the Year.

The winners will be announced March 18, 2024 on the regular season-ending episode of SJHL Weekly.
