On October 27 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) received a report of two suspicious people in a field with flashlights near the caller’s residence off Penner Road west of Range Road (RR) 3050. CPPS attended to the area, however no persons were found in the field.
On October 31, at 4:19 p.m., CPPS arrested a male driver after observing him breaching his Release Order by being in contact with a female passenger contrary to Section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code. CPPS encountered the driver following a traffic stop on Highway 219 and Victor Road. The driver was read his rights and warnings which he understood. He was subsequently released from custody on an Undertaking for court in December 2023. He was also charged for driving while suspended.
On November 1 at 12:47 p.m., a male driver was found to be operating a vehicle under the influence of cannabis on Highway 12 near Township Road (TWP) 384 after testing positive for cannabis on ADSE. The driver, who did not hold a valid Driver’s License (DL), was subsequently issued a seven-day DL suspension and seven-day vehicle impound as per SGI, as he was operating with his three young children in the vehicle.
On November 2 at approximately 1:40 a.m., CPPS observed a white Chev Silverado driving in a construction site near RR 3050 and Greenbryre Lane. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver presented with signs of impairment. He provided a sample of his breath resulting in a “FAIL”, was arrested and transported to Saskatoon Police Service where he provided two samples of his breath, resulting in 190 mgs% x2. The driver was served an Appearance Notice for Provincial Court for January, 2024.
On November 6 at 7:35 p.m., CPPS observed an idling Jeep Grand Cherokee in the east shoulder of RR 3050 near Highway 5 with a lone male sleeping in the back with an open beer beside him. He provided a sample of his breath into the approved screening device which resulted in “FAIL”. He was arrested and transported to Saskatoon RCMP Detachment where he provided two samples of his breath resulting in 200 mgs% and 190 mgs%. The suspect was served with an Appearance Notice for Provincial Court in December 2023 and Open Liquor citation.
On November 6 at 11:56 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of a vehicle that had hit another vehicle at the Red Bull in Radisson, then left heading east-bound in the west- bound lanes of Highway 16. CPPS attended to Highway 16 near Auction Mart Road and was able to stop the vehicle. After failing an approved screening device, a female driver was arrested for impaired operation. She provided two samples of breath, resulting in readings of 170 mgs% and 160 mgs %, and was released on an appearance notice to attend Saskatoon Provincial Court January, 2024.
