
Regional soccer tournaments for the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association (SHSAA) were held on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21.
Valley Christian Academy (VCA) in Osler hosted the Region A-3A boys.
On Friday, October 20 Cst. Robin Cameron defeated Rosthern Junior College 5-4. Osler VCA defeated Senator Allan Bird 5-0.
Saturday’s action saw Waldheim advance to the finals with an 8-2 win over Cst. Robin Cameron, while Osler VCA advanced with a 4-0 win over Stobart.
Osler VCA defeated Waldheim 3-1 in the championship game. Both teams advance to the provincial tournament to be hosted by Langham .

Langham competed in the Region B-3A boys tournament hosted by Wynyard. They had a strong showing, defeating Chief Little Pine 9-0 on Friday. On Saturday they advanced to the finals with a 4-2 win over Wynyard. In a highly competitive championship game Langham lost 4-3 to Cudworth. Both teams advance to the provincials.
Rosthern Junior College (RJC) hosted the Region B-3A girls tournament on Saturday, October 21. RJC defeated Ahtahkakoop 4-0 while Osler VCA downed Senator Allan Bird 7-0 in semi-final action. In the championship game Osler VCA defeated RJC 5-1. Both teams advance to the provincial tournament to be hosted by Maymont in North Battleford.

Waldheim competed in the Region A-3A girls tournament hosted by LCBI in Outlook. They advanced to the championship game with a close 1-0 victory over Chief Little Pine. In the finals they defeated Maymont 4-0. Both teams move on the the provincial tournament.
Martensville hosted the Region A-4A girls tournament on Friday, October 20. They took the championship with a 2-0 win over NB John Paul II in the semi-final game and a 2-0 win over Chief John Keenatch in the finals. Chief John Keenatch had defeated Humboldt 7-1 in their semi-final game.
Both teams advance to the provincial tournament in Regina where they will be joined by Region B qualifiers Yorkton Sacred Heart and Regina Luther.
Martensville boys competed in the Region A-4A boys tournament hosted by Humboldt. They battled hard in a 4-2 loss to Chief Poundmaker in semi-final action.
