Tammy Pike

Tammy Pike will carry the colours for the New Democratic Party (NDP) in the new riding of Martensville-Blaimore in the next provincial election, slated for the fall of 2024.

Pike was chosen as the party’s candidate during an event on Saturday, August 26, according to a story by reporter Keira Miller posted on the CJWW Radio website.

The other person seeking the nomination was Brendan Proctor, a town councillor in Langham.

According to the CJWW news post, Pike is a City of Martensville employee who is active in her local union and an advocate for health care. She and her family live in Martensville.

Pike is quoted on the CJWW news site as saying: “I am overjoyed to be the Saskatchewan NDP candidate here in Martensville-Blairmore. Saskatchewan has so much potential. What we need now is a government that will invest in our communities to deliver a brighter future for everyone.”
