The Diamond BMX Club in Warman hosted Canada Cup and Sask Cup races August 19-20.
The two-day event gave the club a chance to host provincial and international level competition, allowing developing riders to compete the same day as Canada’s top BMX elite riders.
Race classes included: Challenge Class, Junior Devo, Junior, U23 and Elite.
The final race of the day was a Strider Race as the mini stars of BMX competed on ashortened course.
Canada Cup BMX Series Race #1 was in Drummondville, Quebec; Race #2 was in St.-Jean-sur- Richelieu, Quebec; in July. Races #3 and #4 were held in Warman August 19 and 20. The final races in the series are set for Calgary, Alberta, on August 26-27.
