The RM of Corman Park is seeking a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) after parting ways with former CAO Ken Kolb.

Corman Park Reeve Judy Harwood confirmed in an interview following the Corman Park Council meeting on Monday, July 17 that Kolb was no longer with the RM.

She said the  decision to terminate Kolb’s employment was made by a vote of council at a regularly-scheduled committee meeting on Monday, July 10.

The termination of Kolb’s employment with the RM took effect on Friday, July 14.

Harwood said because all human resources  issues must remain confidential, she cannot go into details on the reasons for council’s decision.

“We wish Ken well in the future,” said Harwood.

Kolb has served as Corman Park CAO since August 8, 2021.

Harwood said the municipality is currently looking for a new CAO.

“It’s a key position,” she said. “We have to find someone suitable for the role and move forward.”

The Corman Park council is in the process of naming an interim CAO.
