The 61st annual Draggins Rod and Custom Car Show will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8, at the World Trade Center in Prairieland Park in Saskatoon.

Exhibitors from across Canada will compete for prize money as well as trophies. There are a variety of classes, including: Customs, Hot Rods, Antiques, Restorations, Muscle Cars, Race Cars, Vintage Motorcycles, Custom Trucks and more.

Past car shows have shown some of the most beautiful cars from Canada as well as the United States, including a Riddler-Award winning custom 1957 Chevrolet. One past special guest was Steve Darnell from the TV show ‘Welder Up Garage.

The Draggins Valve Cover Racetrack will be featured at this year’s show. Anyone interested in racing their custom valve cover can find the rules and regulations on the Draggins Custom website. In addition, a Hot Wheels track will be set up for the kids to enjoy.

The Battle of the Automotive Technicians is always a crowd favourite and again this year, teams of two will be competing to see which can assemble a working engine in the fastest time.

The show is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily April 7 and 8. Admission is $20 for adults; $10 for children age 6 to 15 (kids receive a free Hot Wheels model); and children under 5 are free (they also receive a free Hot Wheels model). Anyone with a cognitive or physical disability is also free.
