Boys volleyball teams from Valley Christian Academy in Osler and Dalmeny High School in Dalmeny punched their tickets to the provincial championship round next weekend in Unity.
In 3A boys regional volleyball tournaments last weekend, hosted by Osler VCA, the home squad finished first in pool A with 25-10, 25-9 win over Clavet and 25-11 and 25- 12 win over Dalmeny.
Dalmeny finished second in pool A with 25-17, 25-16 win over Clavet and the loss to Osler VCA.
RJC finished second in pool B with 25-14, 25-6 win over Senator Myles Verne and 19-25, 21-25 loss to Saskatoon Christian.
In semi-final action Osler VCA defeated RJC 22-25, 25-15, 15-4. Saskatoon Christian defeated defeated Dalmeny 15-12 in the third game.
Dalmeny defeated RJC 25-23. 25-22 in the third place game.
Osler VCA defeated Saskatoon Christian 25-19, 25-23 in the championship game. Osler VCA, Dalmeny and Saskatoon Christian will be competing in boys 3A provincial tournament hosted by Unity November 26 and 27.
In the 2A West boys regional tournament last weekend, Hepburn finished second in pool B with a win 25-17, 28-30, 15-10 over Langham and a 16-25, 17-25 loss to MJ Cornerstone. Langham’s other game was a loss 21-25, 18-25 MJ Cornerstone.
Wilkie defeated Hepburn 25-20, 25-20 in semi-final action. Bellevue and Hepburn squared off in third place game with Bellevue coming out on top 25-20, 25-15. Wilkie defeated MJ Cornerstone 25-21, 25-16 in the championship game.
Girls provincial tournaments were held on November 19-20. The results are as follows:

3A Carnduff gold, Kipling silver, Watrous bronze
4A Moose Jaw Peacock gold, NB John Paul II silver, Humboldt bronze

Dalmeny played in 3A girls tournament.
In pool play they defeated Watrous 25-14, 25-21, Lashburn 25-5, 25-10, Maple Creek 27-25, 25-14 and lost to Kipling 25-13, 16-25, 10-15.
In quarter final action they defeated Lanigan 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.
In semi-final game they lost to Carnduff 18-25, 20-25.
In third place game lost to Watrous 19-25, 12-25.
Martensville played in 4A girls tournament.
They defeated Lumsden 25-18, 25-17 and Moosimin 24-26, 25-11, 15-3.
Their losses were close matches with Humboldt 25-23, 24-26, 7-15 and MJ Central 25-18, 17-25, 10-15.
