The Martensville Marauders won back to back contests against their arch-rivals, the Warman Wildcats in two U13AA pre-season exhibition hockey games earlier this week, outscoring Warman 16-2 on September 22 in Martensville and 14-1 in Warman on September 21.
Both teams are finalizing their rosters in preparation for the regular season. The Martensville Marauders have their home opener this weekend when they face off against the West Central Wheat Kings on Sunday, September 26 in Martensville at 5:30 p.m. The Marauders then host the Saskatoon Fury on Friday, October 8 at 7 p.m. at the Martensville Sports Centre. The first road game for the Marauders is Wednesday, October 13 when they play the Saskatoon Thunder at ACT Arena in Saskatoon at 7 p.m.

The Warman Wildcats’ first game of the new season is on Saturday, October 9 at 2:15 when they host the Humboldt Broncos at the Legends Centre. The Broncos play host to the Wildcats on Saturday, October 16 at 8 p.m. at Elgar Peterson Arena in Humboldt. The Wildcats then go up against the West Central Wheat Kings on Sunday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Diamond Rodeo Arena in Warman.

The Warman Minor Hockey Association is hosting a pre-season Western Hockey League exhibition game between the Saskatoon Blades and the Prince Albert Raiders this Saturday, September 25 at the Legends Centre. The event is a fundraiser for the minor hockey association.
