The Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association (SHSAA) held its 73rd annual meeting online, June 24, 2021.

The SHSAA reviewed the 2020–21 school year at the meeting and recognized individuals for their dedication to the student-athletes of our province. The SHSAA also honored retiring Executive members and elected new members to the Executive Council.

During the past year, restrictions put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 limited participation in high school sport; the absence of activities, and all of the positive aspects that go along with them, highlighted the importance of high school sport to student-athletes, coaches, and officials. There is a sense of optimism for the 2021-22 school year to be able to re-engage in the activities that we love.
