Just after 3:00 in the morning, on May 3, 2021, Martensville RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter in progress occurring in the RM of Corman Park, North of Asquith.
Martensville and Warman RCMP officers, Saskatoon Police Service Air One support, and Corman Park Police attended the location.
Two vehicles were observed by Saskatoon Police Service Air One Support on the property. Both vehicles left the property and were later located and the occupants were arrested by officers without incident.
One of the vehicles, a motor home had been reported stolen from the property the week prior. The driver of the motorhome was arrested by Corman Park Police on Highway #16. The second subject that left the property was located a short time later and arrested in Radisson by RCMP officers.
And as a result of the investigation,
Christopher Hayden (age 42) of Prince Albert, SK is being charged with:
1 count, Theft under $5,000.00, Section 334(b), Criminal Code
1 count, Mischief Under $5,000.00, Section 430(4), Criminal Code
1 count, Possession of Break-in instruments, Section 351(1), Criminal Code
Christopher Hayden will appear in Saskatoon Provincial court today on May 4th, 2021.
And, Dean Spokes (age 52) of Battefords, SK is being charged with:
1 count, Theft under $5,000.00, Section 334(b), Criminal Code
1 count, Mischief Under $5,000.00, Section 430(4), Criminal Code
1 count, Possession of property obtained by crime, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
1 count, Mischief under $5,000.00, Section 430(4), Criminal Code
1 count, Make/Sell/Possess instruments for making a forged document, Section 368.1, Criminal Code.
Dean Spokes will appear in Saskatoon Provincial court today on May 4th, 2021.
