After the power was out most of the night of January 14 because of the winter storm, Warman suffered another power outage on January 15 around 9 a.m. because of a power line fire.
The trees surrounding the power line caught fire but it was extinguished quickly once Warman Fire Rescue arrived on scene.
The fire occurred near a back alley by 6th Avenue South, by Thomas the Cook
The fire knocked out the south east main line as the majority of the city was without power until SaskPower crews restores the power.
