Osler Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire on a property near Blumenheim on September 29.
Once Firefighters arrived on scene, Osler Fire Chief Jason Pauls said they were able to get the fire under control in a timely matter due to the quick thinking from neighbours nearby that helped prevent it from spreading.
The cause of the fire was due to some debris from a burning garbage barrel landing on the grass because of the strong winds at the time.
The fire was contained and put out quickly, as it did not spread to the nearby buildings
