Two teens were arrested yesterday morning in Saskatoon after refusing to stop for police.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., May 18, 2020, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Patrol members responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the area of 19th Street West and Avenue R South. Upon arrival, the individuals involved were seen fleeing the area in a red Hyundai Santa Fe. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Kamsack, SK. Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the driver refused to pull over. Two sets of tire deflation devices were deployed and the vehicle came to a stop on Circle Drive, west of Clarence Avenue. Officers arrested the male drive and female passenger without incident.

A 17 year old male from Keeseekoose First Nation is charged with Evade Police, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 and Breach of Undertaking. A 16 year old female from Kamsack, SK is charged with public intoxication.
