Emergency services rolled into Public Safety Agency

Provincial wildfire management will become part of the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency

Government Relations Minister Warren Kaeding and Environment Minister Dustin Duncan announced on January 9 that the Government of Saskatchewan will be enhancing and expanding the mandate of the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA).

Utility inspections, permits transferred to single agency

Government Relations Minister Warren Kaeding has announced the transfer of gas and electrical licensing from the Ministry of Government Relations, gas and electrical inspections and permitting from SaskPower, and plumbing inspections and permitting from the Saskatchewan Health Authority to the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK).
