Sask Valley Music Festival hits a high note

The Sask Valley Music Festival (SVMF), taking place this month at Waldheim’s Mennonite Brethren Church, is celebrating its 79th anniversary this year.

Established in 1940, the SVMF is one of the longest-running music festivals in the province. The Saskatchewan Music Festival Association (SMFA), though, has more than a century of history under its belt. The provincial umbrella organization turns 110 years old this year.
