FireFit competition sparks attendance at Martensville Buster Days

The weather started out cool, but the competition heated up quickly at last weekend’s national Scott FireFit Championships in Martensville.
Edmonton Fire & Rescue, Fort McMurray Fire Department, and Calgary Fire Department took the top three placings in the team category at the three-day event showcasing firefighters’ physical skills and conditioning, which coincided with the community’s annual Buster Days summer fair, June 1, 2 and 3.
