Blizzard conditions create havoc on area highways

Martensville fire Department and Warman RCMP officers responded to a collision in Martensville January 7

Gale-force winds combined with blinding snow are creating white-out conditions across much of the Saskatoon region. According to Warman RCMP officers, the weather is a factor in a number of motor vehicle collisions that have occurred throughout the day.

A three-vehicle collision at the intersection of 4th Street South and Centennial Drive in Martensville about 3:15 on Monday, January 7 resulted in minor injuries to several people, including one patient who was transported to hospital by Medavie Ambulance.
