Rosthern, Aberdeen win CVAC Junior Curling crowns

The Central Valley Athletic Conference (CVAC) Junior Curling Championships featured some fierce competition, as the Rosthern High Huskies won both the boys and mixed divisions, while the Aberdeen Composite Crusaders came out on top of the girls category. Area communities compete in ‘Go Out and Play’ Challenge

The City of Warman is hoping to earn a $10,000 financial boost for a new accessible playground.

The town of Aberdeen, meanwhile, would like to use the prize money from the Blue Cross ‘Go Out and Play’ Challenge to build a walking path around its soccer and football field.
