Area communities compete in ‘Go Out and Play’ Challenge

The City of Warman is hoping to earn a $10,000 financial boost for a new accessible playground.

The town of Aberdeen, meanwhile, would like to use the prize money from the Blue Cross ‘Go Out and Play’ Challenge to build a walking path around its soccer and football field.

Martensville, Rosthern, Aberdeen capture high school curling district crowns

Central Valley Athletic Conference (CVAC) senior curling teams battled it out during district playoffs at the Dalmeny Curling Club on February 8.

Martensville High took home the district championship in the boys tournament, while  Rosthern High won the girls category and Aberdeen team 1 was the champion of the mixed division. Area performers to take stage at Telemiracle 43

The Ville Tap Troupe of Martensville is slated to perform on the Telemiracle stage

Performers from Martensville, Warman and Clavet are among the talent taking the stage at Telemiracle 43 in Saskatoon March 2 and 3.

Telemiracle organizers unveiled the list of performers late last week.
