Fire substantially damages condo complex in Martensville

A fire on Tuesday afternoon, July 23, virtually destroyed a condominium complex on the 200 block of Main Street in Martensville. Firefighters were called to the scene at about 2:30 and began an aggressive interior attack. A short time later, mutual aid support from fire departments in Warman and Dalmeny arrived on scene and roughly 25 firefighters spent the next three hours knocking down flames and hot spots. According to the Martensville Fire Dept. everyone that was inside the building was able to evacuate safely and no injuries were reported. It isn’t known at this time what caused the fire.
