Last call for raffle tickets!

The draw for the Martensville-Warman KidSport Playhouse is September 16, just a few days away.

Martensville KidSport Coordinator Angela Reddekopp said the annual raffle is the largest fundraiser for the Martensville, Warman and area KidSport organization.

“It helps to fund over 60 kids every year, ,” said Reddekopp.  “On average, we rely on the raffle to provide us with about $25,000 in funding for the year.”

KidSport is a local charity that provides funding to families to enroll their children in organized sports.

Tickets for the 100-square foot playhouse, which is valued at $10,000 and doubles as a storage shed, can be purchased at various locations including the Martensville A&W, Co-op, Martensville Farmers Market, Martensville Building and Home Supply, and online at https://warman-kidsport.myshopify.com/ or by scanning the accompanying QR code. Tickets are $5 each.

The playhouse was built by Martensville carpenter Marty Goertzen, who donated five weeks of labour. Corporate donations from Martensville Building and Home Supply, Martensville realtor Richard Reimer, Martensville A&W and the Clark’s Crossing  Gazette helped bring the project to fruition.

Donations to KidSport are accepted all year round by contacting Angie Reddekopp at areddekopp@martensville.ca.
