SASKATCHEWAN'S LARGEST INDEPENDENTLY-OWNED COMMUNITY NEWSPAPER

Martensville’s Main St, Centennial Dr. intersection closed Friday, October 25

On Friday October 25 the intersection of Main Street and Centennial Drive in Martensville will be completely closed to repave the entire intersection. This is part of the entire Main and Centennial repair and rehabilitation project.

Signage is being placed on Highway 12 to remind and redirect motorists during this phase of the project.

During this time there will no access into or out of Martensville through the Highway 12 overpass/interchange.  Motorists are asked to plan alternate routes:

-Lutheran Road (south, entry and exit)
-4th Street South (right-in entry only)
-Highway 305 (entry and exit)

This closure is expected to take one day and reopen once paving is complete.

The remainder of Centennial Drive will have paving done on Saturday October 26.

Once crews are finished in this work area, they will move back to the 600 block of Centennial Dr S to finish paving between 6th St S and Chaparral Blvd. It is important to remember that this schedule is reliant on favourable weather conditions and is subject to change.

The construction area and detours will be changing frequently. Drivers are asked to be mindful of all signage, barricades, and workers as locations and traffic patterns will change daily.
