Terry Fox Run to raise funds for cancer research

Across Saskatchewan, people of all backgrounds from over 40 communities will be coming together to work toward outrunning cancer in the annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 15, 2019.

Terry Fox School Runs are set for Thursday, September 26.

It has been 39 years since Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope awakened a movement in Canadians to come together for a single cause – to create a world without cancer.Terry has become a hero, while the annual Terry Fox Run has become a Canadian tradition. In 2018, Saskatchewan raised nearly 1 million dollars through The Terry Fox Foundation. To date, over $750 million has been raised across the globe for cancer research in Terry’s name. All Terry Fox Runs are 100% volunteer driven and could not happen without them. In Saskatchewan alone more than 1,500 Saskatchewan residents keep Terry’s dream alive.
