Bee swarm cleared from Warman backyard

A swarm of bees descended on a Warman residential backyard on Friday, August 9

BEE VERY CAREFUL…

Two expert beekeepers were called in to remove a swarm of bees that had descended on a children’s playhouse structure in a residential neighbourhood in Warman on Friday, August 9.

Experts wearing protective clothing remove the bee swarm

Warman bylaw officers received a call from the homeowner at 327 Rigmor Street at about 4:00 p.m. ,advising that the bees had invaded the homeowner’s backyard. Bylaw officers called in the experts, who were able to remove the unwanted guests. The swarm forms around the Queen Bee as protection during migrations of the bee colony. No one was injured in the incident.
