Victim Services unit walks in support of Ashley Morin’s family

It has been one year since Ashley Morin went missing

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Victim’s Services Unit will be joining the family of Ashley Morin this weekend in a walk of support and awareness.

The walk will begin Friday, July 12, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Saskatoon Police Services headquarters building at 76, 25th Street East. The walkers will make their way along Highway 16 to North Battleford.

Ashley Morin was last seen one year ago on July 10, 2018 in North Battleford. Members of the SPS Victim’s Services Unit have been providing ongoing support to her family since that time. “When it comes to the families of the missing, one community can support another,” said Victim’s Services Manager Dorthea Swiftwolfe.

RCMP recently unveiled new evidence which suggests that Ashley Morin was the victim of a homicide. They are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers or Battlefords RCMP.
