Trudeau introduces beer tax at Rush games

In addition to a carbon tax taking effect in Saskatchewan today, April 1 (repeat, April 1…) Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the federal Liberal Government have announced a RGBT (Rush Game Beer Tax).

The tax or levy will take effect immediately, and is designed to reduce beer consumption and fun at Saskatchewan Rush games. As a result of the RGBT, beer prices are expected to rise over $10 at Rush games.
It has been deemed by the federal government that Rush fans are too rowdy, boisterous, and ‘unfriendly’ to opposing teams visiting Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre. The RGBT has been implemented in an effort to tame the so-called ‘Best Fans in the NLL’.
The next Rush home game is Saturday, April 13th vs. the Philadelphia Wings on Co-op Field at SaskTel Centre.
