Cumberland House man arrested on child porn charges

A 23-year-old man from Cumberland House is facing six charges of possessing and distributing child pornography, following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

On November 20, 2018 the Saskatchewan ICE unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Cumberland House in relation to an investigation into the distribution and possession of child pornography on social media applications spanning between February 2016 and November 2018.

Keayan Zachary Moore, age 23, has been charged with the following;

* 4 counts of Possession of Child Pornography – Sec.163.1(4) CC

* 2 counts of distributing Child Pornography – Sec. 163.1 (3) CC

Keayan Moore was arrested at the scene and appeared in Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Cumberland House on November 20. He was remanded to appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court in La Ronge on Monday November 26, 2018.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
