Police arrest nine suspects in Prince Albert drug ring bust

Nine people allegedly associated with a major drug trafficking ring in Prince Albert have been arrested following an eight-month investigation by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) based in Prince Albert.

The police investigation began in November of 2017 when information was learned about a possible drug trafficking organization moving large amounts of cocaine and cannabis into the area.

In mid July till early August [AK1]  CFSEU  executed  search warrants at several residences and made several arrests in and around the Prince Albert Area.

Nine people have been arrested and charged, and several residences have been searched. The accused all made their first court appearance in Prince Albert on Tuesday, August 7.

Weapons and a large quantity of drugs have been seized and will not be sold on the streets[AK2] .   Four vehicles have also been seized as part of the investigation.

Charged with the following offences are:

* Jonathan Michial Mah, 33:  Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; possession for purpose of trafficking cocaine; conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; possess proceeds of crime; conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime; unlawfully possess firearms while prohibited; unlawfully possess firearms for trafficking; unsafe storage of firearms; store a high hazard explosive contrary to Explosive Regulations Sect 21(1) of the Explosives Act; possession of  stolen snowmobiles (two counts);

* Kevin Wayne Keller, 43: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime; Possession for purpose of trafficking cocaine; Possess proceeds of Crime;

* Jessica Rayleen Keller, 21: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; Conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime;

* Tiffany Keller: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine ; Conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime;

* Benjamin Martin Anthony Henry, 23: Conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime; Breach of Recognizance;

* Chase Dennis Sinclair, 33: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; Possession for purpose of trafficking cocaine; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime; Careless storage of Ammunition;

* Brent Tyrone Fizzard, 33: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; Conspiracy to traffic cannabis marihuana; Possession for purpose of trafficking cocaine; Trafficking cocaine; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime

* Amanda Rose Marchand, 23: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime;

* Cory Wayne Marchand, 24: Conspiracy to traffic cocaine; Conspiracy to possess proceeds of crime.

All persons named have been arrested and made their first court appearance on Tuesday August 7, 2018.

Investigators believe this group of people were responsible for a significant amount of illegal drugs flowing into the Prince Albert area.
