A Martensville-based flower, gift and home decor shop received Business of the Year honours at the Warman-Martensville Business Excellence Awards (WMBEXA) gala on Friday, May 4.
SAS Home & Floral Boutique took top spot in the category. The other finalists included the Clark’s Crossing Gazette, Wrench Fitness, Dancer’s Edge, and CWI.
Affinity Credit Union was presented with the Community Involvement Award at the sold-out, gala event at the Brian King Centre in Warman. The other finalists in that category were Dahlia Salon and Spa, Pharmasave, Warman Home Centre and Warman Physiotherapy and Wellness.
The Martensville Community Recreation Project was awarded the Non-Profit of the Year. The other finalists were Martensville Information and Visitor Centre, the Warman Community Association, Warman Collective Garden, and the Warman Sport and Cultural Village.
Finelite Photograph & Design won the Customer Service award at the WMBEXA gala. The other finalists in the category were Act Audio visual, Concrete Edge Construction Corporation, Nourish Natural Health Food Store, and Paws Republic boarding and training centre.
The New Business of the Year honours went to Santosha Yoga & Wellness Therapies. The other finalists were Bravo Dance Company, Fit Prairie Girl, Hawthorn & Wool Floral and Gift Shop, and Salon Beau.ti.ful..

Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce CEO Steve McLellan and Shawna Nelson, Past Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, served as Masters of Ceremony for the evening.
