Three charged with drug trafficking

Three people are facing drug trafficking charges following a single-vehicle collision in Saskatoon that occurred January 10, 2018.
When police arrived at the scene of the crash Wednesday morning, they found the occupants of the vehicle to be in possession of marijuana packaged in individual baggies, along with more than $29,000 Canadian cash and a small amount of American cash. All three people were arrested without incident.
A 19-year-old man, a 26-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man are all facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking marijuana and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime.
The collision occurred at the intersection of 22nd Street West and Witney Avenue at approximately 8:00 a.m., An SUV collided with a traffic light in the intersection and knocked out the signals. The lights were repaired a short time later. The three occupants were taken to hospital.
