A “pinwheel” design for the new K-12 school in Rosthern is one of two proposals currently being looked at

Brad Nichol named PSSD Learning Superintendent

Prairie Spirit School Division has announced the appointment of Brad Nichol as a Learning Superintendent, effective August 1.
This appointment fills the vacancy created following the appointment of Lori Jeschke as the Division’s new Director of Education.

As a Learning Superintendent, Nichol will be responsible for a group of schools throughout the Division and will lead a variety of learning areas, including Safe and Caring schools, Music Education and First Nations/Métis education.
Until his appointment as a Learning Superintendent, Nichol was the principal of Martensville High School, a position he held for eight years.
He has over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience, including working at Laird School, Rosthern Junior College, Rosthern High School and Rosthern Elementary School, as well as teaching experience in British Columbia and Manitoba.
