Dalmeny flight nurse recalls night of crash

David Maier of Dalmeny will never forget the night of April 6, 2018.
“The men and women who responded to the scene of the collision involving the Humboldt Broncos bus are true heroes,” said Maier in an interview on Friday, April 13. “They did an absolutely remarkable job with very limited resources in a very distressing situation.
“These are the people who truly make a difference. They saved a lot of lives.
“I can’t say enough about the local emergency responders. They deserve all the support we can give.”
