The Delisle Rebels football team cruised to a 86-26 victory over the John Paul II Collegiate Crusaders in Delisle, on October 5.
With the win, Delisle is 5-0 and there’s a lot at stake for the Rebels in their final game of the regular season, as they face the undefeated Unity Warriors for a battle of first place.

The Delisle Rebels cruised to a 49-0 win over the host Martensville Royals in the first-ever night game at Wilson Field on Friday, September 8.
The opening game of the season for both teams couldn’t have been played in more perfect conditions. A huge crowd, balmy temperatures, manicured field and ten huge floodlights provided a movie-set atmosphere for the Friday Night Lights match-up. The only flaw in the script, from the Royals’ point of view, was the score.
The Rebels got on the board first with just over three minutes to go in the opening quarter when quarterback Colton Noel connected with receiver Oakley Durham for the first of his two touchdowns on the night. The Rebels spread the scoring around, with Brant Wiebe, Will Major, Ryan Olson and Brett Paulhus also registering majors in the second and third quarters.
