Saskatchewan Rush launches MVP experience

The Saskatchewan Rush is launching the Rush MVP Experience, an exciting and impactful community initiative, in collaboration with a new partner this 2018 season.
Every home Rush game this season, special families hand-selected from local charities will have the opportunity to experience the Rush like no one else. On December 23, Vonn, Alex, and Levi from the Make-A-Wish Foundation were invited to enjoy the very first MVP Experience.
“The Rush MVP Experience is meant to leave these children and their families with a special evening that will never be forgotten,” said Andrea Glieheisen, VP Marketing & Partnerships Saskatchewan Rush. “We are very thankful that Prairie Mobile was just as passionate about helping make a difference in these families lives.”
The experience begins with each family being picked up from their front door, by the Rush MVP Limo Bus. The ultimate MVP’s- the kids, are outfitted with new Rush jerseys and other team gear. Upon arriving at SaskTel Centre, each family is given the ultimate green carpet treatment. After being greeted by a Rush tour-guide, the families are directly escorted to the team dressing room to meet Rush players and coaches.
“When we approached the Rush to enter in to a sponsorship agreement we saw an opportunity to partner with a franchise at the top of their league, and one that values giving back to communities and impacting lives,” said Wade Gamey, Marketing and Corporate Sales Prairie Mobile Communications. “To see the MVP kids’ faces light up throughout the entire experience and to know that we were able to help make it happen fills us with pride.”
After watching warm-ups from up close and personal, each family gets to watch the game from their custom MVP seats. Post-game, each family gathers back in the Rush locker room to mingle with Rush players and gather signatures. As the evening concludes, all families board the Rush MVP Limo Bus and return home with memories to last a lifetime.
