Saskatoon man charged with drug trafficking

A Saskatoon man is facing numerous charges after being found in possession of a variety of illicit drugs.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., October 8, 2017, the Saskatoon Police responded to a call of suspicious people in the 1800 block of Avenue D North. Officers observed a man walking in the area believed to be one of the reported suspicious people. On his person, Police discovered Methylphenidate (commonly referred to as Ritalin), hydromorphone and morphine sulfate. Methamphetamine and crack cocaine were also found packaged for distribution.

A 34-year-old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Methylphenidate, Possession of Morphine, Possession of Hydromorphone and Breach of Undertaking (x2).
