Man arrested on drug trafficking charges

Saskatoon Police charged a man with trafficking methamphetamine.

At approximately 10:45 a.m., August 8, 2017, Saskatoon Police officers observed a suspicious truck drive by a residence in the 1000 block of 9th Street East in Saskatoon, which officers were attending on an unrelated matter.

They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and discovered methamphetamine, meth pipes, cell phones, a weigh scale and a large amount of cash inside. Officers took the male driver, the single lone occupant of the vehicle, into custody without incident.

A 48-year-old male has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breach of Conditions.
